We ground the full area of both pools to gain a key, primed the full areas, we then applied our specialist epoxy resin lining system. This included adding in the lane lines.
The pool walkways were old, tiled floor covering, where the tiles were worn and in poor condition nor providing the required anti-slip ratings.
The floor was prepared by grinding the tiles, areas of damage made good with our epoxy base screed, and our aqua bead nonslip safety resin flooring was applied. The aqaua bead nonslip flooring was continued down the steps into the learner pool to provide a contrasting colour scheme and safety feature to this pool. Our aqua bead nonslip safety resin flooring received a slip test by an independent company and was found above average for the health and safety guidelines.
The skirtings on the pool surrounds were also replaced with our aqua bead epoxy system to match the floor and provide a continuous membrane to stop water seepage under the floor.
The drainage channel grating around the pools were replaced with new white HDPE bespoke made grating to provide a clean durable lasting finish to the area with the channels lined in our epoxy resin lining system.
